Below are three typographic posters responding to three different prompts: an architectural lecture, a typeface, and a short story. The first architectural poster is advertising a fictitious lecture given on the work of Charles and Ray Eames. This references the Eames' iconic curvilinear style in furniture in addition to their geometric architectural detailing. The second poster showcases the typeface Univers, conveying the history and essence of the typeface, showcasing some of its beautiful forms. The third poster was designed around the short story "Girl" by Jamaica Kincaid. This poster picks up on elements and themes of the story using a variety of visual communication techniques to give a sense of tension, tediousness and unease with an underlying structure holding it together.
